Earlier this year I got to work on a creative brief for an exciting new coffee brand launching in UK & Ireland called BLINK. The client wanted a fun, vibrant and eye catching design that highlighted their brand’s core values and this was the successful design they will launch with.
The brand identity and packaging concept I designed for a coffee company was focused on their target audience, busy and woke young millennials who value coffee as much as they do creativity and social justice.
The design concept is based on the insight that coffee’s main purpose is to awaken the senses and to keep you alert and focused throughout the day. The blinking eye is captivating and iconic and represents both the core purpose of coffee, but also the ethical mission of the BLINK brand, encouraging consumers to open their eyes to diversity and inclusion in the world.
BLINK will be available in multiple packaging formats throughout retail stores and also self-service coffee in the future.
